Cordill\u00e8re Real, appel\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0Himalaya du Nouveau Monde\u00a0\u00bb par certains, est situ\u00e9e au sud-est du lac Titicaca, sur le bord oriental du grand plateau bolivien. Sa majestuosit\u00e9 et son rayonnement culturel est tel dans le monde andin qu\u2019elle est sans aucun doute \u00e0 la mesure de son nom de Royal.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce massif d&rsquo;environ 125 km de long est compos\u00e9 de six sommets granitiques, dont l&rsquo;apog\u00e9e est le sommet de l&rsquo;Illimani, \u00e0 6 438 m\u00e8tres d&rsquo;altitude, qui s&rsquo;entoure d&rsquo;une cour de sept six mille de plus de vingt-cinq mille ans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette cha\u00eene de montagnes est compos\u00e9e de nombreux glaciers, bien qu&rsquo;elle soit situ\u00e9e \u00e0 seulement 17 degr\u00e9s au sud de l\u2019\u00e9quateur et de sa proximit\u00e9 avec la for\u00eat amazonienne et ses grandes masses d&rsquo;air charg\u00e9es d&rsquo;humidit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Le Nevado Condoriri, ou \u00ab T\u00eate de Condor \u00bb (5648 m\u00e8tres au-dessus du niveau de la mer), est \u00e9galement l\u2019une des beaut\u00e9s symboliques des trois sommets qui le forment, repr\u00e9sentant un condor avec les ailes d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Le Nevado Illampu et l&rsquo;Ancahuma forment un massif dominant unique qui s&rsquo;\u00e9tend sur l&rsquo;ensemble de la Cordill\u00e8re Real. Ces sommets repr\u00e9sentent les esprits gardiens de la culture aymara, qui prot\u00e8gent le peuple et re\u00e7oivent donc v\u00e9n\u00e9ration et offrandes lors de
