HEAD

TRUNK

1. First layer: Prefer a long-sleeved shirt or shirt made of merino wool or other technical material.

2. Second layer: thin polar jacket , micro polar or other fine material

3. Third layer: Thick down jacket in Atacama and Altiplano or Primaloft for Patagonia

4. Fourth layer: Waterproof jacket, we recommend Goro-tex

5. Optional: Softshell jacket, just for comfort as you can replace it using the layers mentioned above

LEGS

1. First layer: Thin shoe, prefer merino wool material or other similar technical material

2. Second layer: Micro fleece thin trousers or other similar technical material

3. Third layer: Thermal pants with reinforcements, we recommend softshell

4. Fourth layer: Waterproof pants, we recommend Goro-tex

5. Fifth Layer: Thick waterproof and thermal pants

6. Short, in some hikes a short will be necessary, you can wear pants that can be divided

FEET

1. A pair of walking boots that you have worn before, ideally they can be used for airplane and approach walks

2. A pair of crock-style sandals

3. A pair of high mountain boots (la sportiva, scarpa, among others)

PERSONAL KITCHEN AND PERSONAL GROOMING NEEDS (RECOMMENDATION)

Your personal medication should be the amount needed for the entire trip. Above all, if you follow a specific treatment, you should take your medicines imperatively.


1. Antibiotics: Pristinamicin (Pyostacine® 500 mg) (2 boxes for 1 day treatment),
amoxicillin + clavulanic acid (Augmentin®) 1 g

2. Analgesics: Paracetamol 500mg

3. Anti-inflammatory: Ibuprofen 500 mg

4. Corticosteroids: Solupred 20mg

5. Anti diarrhoeal: Smecta (provide a dozen bags), Intetix (treatment of aerobics), Imodium

6. Anti-Emetic: Volag®, Phosphalugel®/Ulcar®, Domperidone, Prinperan

7. Anti histamines (for punctures, urticaria …): Zyrtec®, Clarytine®, Phenergan®, Polaramine®
