The agency
Tolhuin Expeditions is a company founded to organize excursions and sports expeditions focused on environmental awareness and conservation.
It arose from my desire to combine the love of sports and nature shared by all mountaineers and hikers—who seek self-improvement and self-discovery by taking on new challenges, such as climbing a peak while taking pleasure in contemplating natural beauty.
Currently we offer exploration itineraries in the rugged nature of Atacama and Patagonia: excursions, hikes, hiking, ascent to volcanoes and a whole set of unforgettable experiences that combine with the enthusiasm and professional dedication that gives us the experience of years and the commitment to what we do.
Tolhuin also provides certified and experienced guides, appropriate equipment, verifies medical information, and offers constant support and companionship throughout the trip to ensure the physical and mental safety of its clients.
We want you to gain an understanding of the geography and culture of the places we visit, interact with the locals, and gain insight into the values of these ancient cultures. We work from a human-centered perspective and for the benefit of people.
We yearn to bring to the collective consciousness respect for Nature and for this we incorporate in our we do everything that involves local culture, ecological knowledge.
Having already completed our first project in Atacama—which is our current project—we will continue to explore new avenues in Patagonia with the goal of making Tolhuin a logistics hub capable of effectively serving research institutions and environmental projects.

Contribute to the formation of collective awareness about the urgency of protecting natural heritage and the environment, safeguarding natural beauties as a treasure, through excursions and explorations always in harmony with the local culture and its plans to care for its own environment. To ensure that travelers become part of the discoveries by fully integrating for the purpose of knowing the places and communities so that they can preserve them properly.
Vision
Exploration trips to distant, isolated and little-known counties with people, companies or institutions that have a real interest in ecological objectives become active participants in the organization and execution, serving as a logistics platform for major environmental protection projects.
