In Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego you still feel the presence of adventurers and navigators, settlers and missionaries who left witness to their works and actions. Isla Riesco is an example of this that will be shown to the traveler when crossing the mountain ranges by horseback with a sheep. All the natural beauties together are in Torres del Paine National Park(242,242 ha), one of the most beautiful parks in Chile and World Biosphere Reserve. The Toro, Maravilla and Porteño lakes, Green Lagoon and Lake Sarmiento are surrounded by beautiful landscapes typical of the area such as steppe, scrub, Magellanic forest and tundra. Flying over the Park, condors and eagles, in the flemish lagoons, taguas and swans, everywhere guanacos, more huidizos pumas, huemules, foxes and chingues. Two long circuits allow you to travel it completely. The Argentine village of El Chaltén is the beginning of several days of excursion around the Massif of the Fitz Roy Mountains (3,405 m) and Torre (3,128 m) and then to other pleasant surprises of Los Glaciares National Park. On the Beagle Canal, from the city of Ushuaia to Tierra del Fuego National Park for a few days, knowing in this small nature reserve everything most characteristic of the landscape, flora and fauna of the south of the great island. On the other side of the Beagle Canal, Puerto Williams will be the departure for a 53 km excursion that will turn the Navarino Teeth massif completely. The beauty of these 1000 m mountains and the variety of landscapes that flank them will more than reward the effort of the hard five-day trek.
